RapDuo requests a newly generated hip-hop beat, vocals and short original lyrics from your topic. It does not include the original Hotel Lobby recording, clone an artist's voice or accept an uploaded soundtrack. Listen to your completed MP4 before sharing.

Which song is behind the Hotel Lobby AI trend?
The musical reference is HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew), credited to Quavo and Takeoff. Their A COLORS SHOW performance supplies the familiar orange studio, shared hanging microphone and two-performer format. Watch the official performance if you want to hear that recording.
A generated orange-stage video can look familiar without containing that track. Some reference-based services restore a template soundtrack; others produce silent footage or new sound. RapDuo follows the original-generation route. Paying generation credits does not buy the original recording, an artist voice or the right to reproduce the original performance.
What the original RapDuo soundtrack includes
The duet combines generated vocals, a beat and mouth movement. Timing, words and voices can vary. A photo guides appearance rather than recording the subject speaking. Do not present the generated vocals as words a real person actually recorded.
The current creator does not show a separate lyric script for approval. Use one simple theme and review the finished audio. If a precise name, sentence, brand claim or joke must be correct, inspect it before posting rather than assuming the topic is an exact spoken script.
| Audio question | Current RapDuo behavior |
|---|---|
| Beat and vocals | Newly generated hip-hop beat and rap vocals |
| Lyrics | Short original lines inspired by the optional topic |
| Original Hotel Lobby master | Not supplied |
| Participants' real voices | Not cloned from a photo |
| Custom MP3 or reference-video upload | Not supported in the creator |
| Exact lyrics or pronunciation | Not guaranteed |
Set a clear language expectation
The website language sets the default lyric language: English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese or French. A topic written in another language asks the model to use that language. For a Mandarin birthday clip, write a concise Mandarin birthday topic with the name and one friendly detail.
Language guidance does not guarantee a particular accent, voice or perfect pronunciation. Listen for incorrect names, unwanted words, repetition and sudden language changes. A simpler topic can reduce conflicting directions, but another generation remains a separate paid attempt with variable output.
Check the audio against the selected effect
Changing the effect changes the performance direction, without selecting a particular commercial track or fixing an exact verse. The detailed friends case documents a difference between requested and generated words in one real output. Use that case as a reason to listen carefully, not as a measured failure rate or a prediction for your next render.
| Effect or use | What to listen for |
|---|---|
| Birthday shout-out | The recipient name, milestone and whether the words suit the gift |
| Friendly rap battle | Friendly wording that both participants are comfortable sharing |
| Pet duet | Names and a playful theme without assuming a real animal voice |
| Couple or celebration duet | The right occasion, relationship and personal detail |
| Any effect | Unwanted words, abrupt endings, overlapping voices or an unexpected language |
Check a silent video before paying to regenerate
Check playback controls
Press Play, unmute the video, raise device volume and check whether the browser tab or site is muted. Test without relying on autoplay.
Check the downloaded file
Download the completed MP4 from Videos and open it in another player. If it has sound there, the browser player or device settings need attention.
Preserve the evidence
If the downloaded file is also silent or its audio is corrupted, keep the original file and contact support with the task ID, device and browser, and what you tried. A playback problem does not establish a confirmed generation failure.
Replace the soundtrack without another video generation
Save an untouched copy of the MP4. In your editor, mute or lower its generated track, add music you may use on a separate audio track, trim it to the clip length and check the beginning and ending. Listen for overlapping vocals before exporting.
You can align an audio beat with a visible gesture, but replacing sound does not change the existing mouth shapes or create exact lip sync to a different lyric. For a birthday message that must be spoken exactly, an authorized voice recording added in your editor may communicate the words more reliably than repeatedly rendering a topic. That editing step is outside RapDuo's creator.
Choose audio for the place you will publish
Check permission for the specific recording, platform and intended use. A sound available inside an app is not proof that it can be exported into an advertisement or reposted elsewhere. AI generation also does not guarantee unique audio or eliminate third-party rights concerns.
For posts promoting a brand, product or service, TikTok recommends its Commercial Music Library and says its licenses for music outside that library do not cover commercial use. Its guidance explains the confirmation needed when using other music. Review those current rules for your post. Keep participants' permission and make clear when a realistic performance is AI-generated.
Questions before you create
Will the clip use the original Hotel Lobby song?
No. RapDuo asks for original generated music and vocals. Use the official performance link to hear the original song.
Can I upload my own music or clone my voice?
The current creator offers neither soundtrack upload nor voice cloning. Add an authorized recording to a downloaded clip in your own editor if needed.
Can I request a completely silent generation?
The current RapDuo performance requests beat and vocals. You can mute a downloaded clip in an external editor; there is no silent-mode toggle in the creator.
Does a mismatched lyric automatically return credits?
Completed videos are charged even when the creative result differs from your expectation. Confirmed technical failures return generation credits. See the troubleshooting and refund pages for those separate processes.
